Endotracheal Intubation in Children

There are significant differences in airway anatomy and respiratory physiology between children and adults, and these are taken into careful consideration before performing tracheal intubation of any pediatric patient.

Endotracheal Intubation Procedure

Endotracheal intubation is a medical procedure in which a tube is placed into the windpipe (trachea) through the mouth or nose. In most emergency situations it is placed through the mouth.

Digital Block

This technique is simple to perform and essentially devoid of systemic complications. It is a commonly used and effective method of anesthesia for a wide variety of minor surgical procedures on the digits.

Injection of Local Anesthetic

It only takes a few minutes to lose feeling in the area where local anaesthetic is given. Your doctor will make sure the area is fully numb before starting the procedure.

Why do people get diarrhea? Normally, the small intestine and colon absorb about 99% of the fluid from what you drink and eat. Infections are the most common cause of what is called secretory diarrhea.

Why Do We Need Iron?

Iron is needed by the body to make hemoglobin, found in red blood cells, which carries oxygen to all parts of the body. It also helps produce myoglobin in muscles cells to transport oxygen in the muscles.

Lung Cancer and Shortness of Breath

The air then moves into smaller airways that branch into your lungs. These smaller airways end in flexible elastic sacs that expand and contract as you breathe in and out, filling and emptying your lungs.
